Burp

It’s been another long week, and I haven’t taken my much needed vacation yet. Probably it’ll happen this week. This week, I learnt the C programming interface for PostgreSQL and did a port of my SourceForge user information daemon from MySQL to PostgreSQL. The MySQL code is currently available as a part of the SourceForge sourcecode distribution. The PostgreSQL code will make it into the next tarball release. I went out with my friends for a Chinese dinner on saturday after playing football all day, and that killed my stomach. So both mentally and physically, I need that holiday out! My grades were announced. A A A in all subjects for the last semester. Not the best, but I’m happy.

Long week

I haven’t been updating this daily. This week was pretty stupid. I’ve been working like crazy, and am going to take a much needed holiday next week. Today, I wanted to divert my mind and tried my hand at breaking the MD5 Message-Digest algorithm without using a brute-force approach. Yeah, I know it is crazy, but I wanted me to invent and discover for sometime, without doing crazy regular work. I feel good now. Oh yes, one of my posts about the Large Electron Positron Collider got approved on Slashdot this week. I got the Googled project setup too. Googled is a IRC bot which searches using the Google search engine. For details, look here. It is on the Open Projects IRC Network right now with the nickname search in #linuxhelp, #php, #e and other rooms.

New interface =)

I have upgraded the site’s interface, so that it looks more pleasing to the eye. I’ve also removed the comment-posting feature. That was a bad idea in the first place. This is going to be my diary I’m going to keep about my everyday stuff. I’ve added a a few sections on the top. Not all work right away. I’ll be updating them individually in the next few days. Take a look and have fun.
