Every year, after a month of November all to myself, December brings much bad luck to me, keeping the balance of yin and yang. January is always a month when I make peace with my destiny; a time when I don’t let it bother me anymore. Well, I don’t do this stuff explicitly, but it happens. This Jan, I was made manager on Linux.com. That was early this Jan. I recall starting the new year, singing with my buddy Sarosh. There are so many happy memories, on the table, and so many hidden of the past, which rush through. Jan brought its share of disaster as well. A good friend, Keshav, died of a heart attack. I can’t believe when people so close go away, so young. Life is never fair, but how can it be so bad? Work has been pretty hectic too. Early Jan, I was at the Apollo hospital, ill, getting my body fixed. I have recovered pretty well. They gave me a clean chit, which has me worried. I may live long. Damn, as I’m writing this, my maid servant just dipped my wallet with a load of money into a bucket of soap water. Hrmm.
