After we finish a product, we all just sit together and have some kick-ass discussions on where we’re headed. It’s such fun discussing ideas and defining the market.
Last night, Rafiu, Kamal, Shweta, Vince and me all went out for dinner; the food was amazing (getting used to Kerala food is *hard*.. coconut, coconut, coconut.. more coconut.. umm.. [Jiby, get this -> I couldn't eat more than 2 masala dosas. Benchmark your food by that :P]). Btw, we watched the Lara Croft Tomb Raider movie a week ago. It sucked major.
Yesterday, I had to talk about why I disliked Microsoft. Cliched. Wonder why people always use Microsoft as someone to compare with. Look at AOL if you want a conglomerate to pull on. Anyway… my reasons are simple. I don’t dislike them cause they make crappy software.. not because they’re not opensource.. not cause they don’t contribute to the community. They monopolize. They don’t live and let live. It’s ironic how the very thing is killing them now. From a purely business point of view, Microsoft plays its part. But this ain’t a perfect world. I guess they’ll never learn.
