Jealousy

Small is suffering
small is despair
the biggest pang
is jealousy

Written almost a year ago.

Suspect

You look like
that person I dreamed of
that night
a girl who sought
away from a band of tricks

But would you believe
would you believe that
if you feel
you can like the girl
in that dream

Wishes and chaos
blend like the rainbow
in dreams
untrue till tried
and tried

But would you believe
would you believe
that everything achieved
was first dreamed of
by you

It takes time
with stubborn desire
unflinching stubborn desire
but no fickle thought
lasts or sticks

So would you believe
would you believe that the life
you wait to achieve
was always yours waiting
far from the band of fools
that could never love anyone

What they painfully love to own
with burning cowardice
has been
and will always be
the ways of your tranquil life

So would you believe
would you believe
that you are the destiny
carved by Gods
in your time

Come

Come
come along with me
to the plateau in the black sky
with a thousand stars all bright
which melt with your gentle smiles

Come sweet angel
let's stand on this cloudy floor
where we don't need to close our eyes
in our place so high

Silence listens to our every breath
And with the morning sunrise
We'd have made a dream to try

Tree

Oh Tree
your leaves fall
yet you know and wait
for the next summer

Unlike

Why can't thee flower be
crumbling like every other
at night fall
For this bee still wanders
within attraction

Dawn

See, the weight of this world
goes to bed on my back
Dreams I do not understand
feel silly when I talk

If I could take it back
I might try
I would, if it held
some worth or a smile

I wake up when it's dawn
The world comes to me
And pictures of curiosity
of the night disappear

Silly how people are
Nothing's like you
And we're so glad to be
Smile won't you

Because it makes me smile
when I dream of you in the morning
Puts me to peace
And maybe I will be a better man today

I'm awake it's dawn
See you are smiling in your dream
We have a world to carry
It can't do without us

The River Bank

there's a place in heaven
where old long house boats of bamboo
make the water tremble
long straws of dark grass on the bank
overcast sky and rain
a long dock streching into the water
as if leading to nothing
with a market on the bank
filled with people who barter their goods
cranes fly the sure wind
a pool of netted fish makes a pyramid
two school boys walking the bank front
dressed in white uniforms and canvas shoes
and bags of books
women washing their family linen
on shallow stone hedges
flowers in their hair
with bright smiles and friendly chatter
of good and bad and responsibility
horse carts line the road along the bank
with wares of businessmen and with businessmen
cloth merchants and ministers
the school boys have walked away
go to heaven
you must visit
